Cwenga is the voice of UCT News as part of her work as an intern at the UCT TV Studios. She records and edits audio and video files for UCT TV Studio projects. She assists in the setting up, operation and removal of hardware and software for recording and webcasting live and prerecorded audio and video material.

Cwenga was the female Program Director and MC for the first UCT AwearSA fashion show in September 2018. In 2019 she became Wear South Africa's online presenter at all the AwearSA fashion show events in and around Cape Town, namely the Cape Town International Jazz Festival Gala Dinner, V&A Waterfront Fashion Show and Canal Walk Fashion Show. The same year she appeared on Hectic 99 (SABC 2) to speak as an ambassador and advocate for local fashion brands to be worn and supported by South Africans.
